Now do I own the rights to Mancini because he is an Oriole prospect? I remember a discussion on this but I'll be damned if I can find it.

I did a player search and he was on your team. I didn't actually go to your minors to check.

I have done my research. You had him on your list in previous years, but for some reason you have removed him. Since he is now in the major leagues, he is fair game for ANYONE IMMEDIATELY and does not have to go through the claim process. The only way you have protection for a player's rights is if you keep them on your list. That is not the case here. It is each owner's responsibility to keep their list, and if an owner inadvertently leaves someone off, that is what we call a loophole. Sorry but the responsibility falls on the controlling organization's protection of a player by adding them to their list. This may be a good reminder that we want to check ours and make sure it is as updated as possible.

No apologies necessary. I thought those were the rules, I was confused on the claim. I don't know why I removed him from my list in the off-season, but someone is getting fired.
