This is getting ridiculous! A writer on MLB Trade Rumors said he thinks Harper won't sign until February. He is holding up the market. I wanted to wait, but at the same time, I don't want to hold things up. I would like to hear your thoughts. Start bidding this weekend or wait a week or two? If ANYONE is in favor of waiting, then that is what we should do. It could be different if Keuchel ends up in Cincy or Philly vs San Diego for example. Please reply asap. I would like to hear from everyone by Thursday. Thanks!

I'm in favor of starting this weekend. I don't mind waiting, but I would like to get things moving along here. I think the longer they wait, the hope is that one of the teams will break and up the offer. From what I read, no one is close to what Machado is asking for. Plus now Harper is waiting for Philly to make an offer.

I would like to start this weekend or Monday. I’m not against waiting either but would like to get rolling.

I'm good with either starting or waiting.

I'm good with waiting but won't be upset or make any problems if we start sooner. I'm down with whatever the league is good for.

I’m pretty flexible and will go with the majority. I go on vacation on the 30th, but that’s just in preparation for me leaving one unit and moving to another with the Marine Corps. Won’t have any effect on me bidding.

Personally I would rather wait, I know its frustrating but with several big names yet to sign it would be nice to know where they will be playing before bidding. On a personal note I will be out of town this weekend with little internet access.

I think we will revisit this topic in a week and see where we are at. Thanks, guys!

At this point I'd start bidding based on when we're all available (i.e. no one's on vacation, away from internet) rather than wait for the big signings. I'm available whenever for the next month or so.

Certainly don't hold things up on account of me. I will make it work, just won't be able to check in very much Fri, Sat or Sun. After that I will be good to go.

Sounds like the earliest we would start is next weekend

My thought is that it doesn’t matter where Machado and Harper end up at, most guys have a number in their heads already on what they plan on bidding for those guys regardless which team they choose. Couple pitchers that are left it might matter, depends on ballpark. Maybe we start next weekend or the Monday after and if some of the pitchers are still not signed, then maybe Brian could shuffle the back a couple days. Just a thought.

I can start whenever. I would prefer sooner but whenever you decide is fine.
