Trade Review
First things first, we want this to be an active trading league. We encourage you to take risks in trades that could pay off big in the future. Our hope is that this will be a league that lasts a really long time. By having only 10 teams, hopefully we can have long-term, active participation.
When trades are reviewed by the trade committee they will review to make sure there has been no collusion and that the trade will not hurt the overall integrity of the league. For these and only these reasons will trades be vetoed. Just because a trade seems imbalanced isn't necessarily a reason for a veto.
All trades will be reviewed by the Trade Committee, which consist of 5 members. For a trade to pass it must receive three approval votes. For a trade to be vetoed it must also receive three veto votes. Trades will be approved or vetoed by who gets the number of votes first. For example some trades could receive three approval votes right away, in that case the trade would be approved. Also some trades could receive three veto votes right away, in that case the trade would be vetoed. There will always be a min of five members on the trade committee. This system is in place to protect the integrity and longevity of the league.
If one or more trade committee members is involved in a trade. The number of votes to approve or veto drops to two.
The trade committee consist of Brian, Neil, Will, Jerrod, and John. Only these five should give opinions toward approval on the thread. Also, these 5 should check in frequently so that they may act on pending deals.
