Guys,
I am doing a project on worst contracts in MLB....I came up with the following list:
1. Prince Fielder 2. Albert Pujols 3. Ryan Howard 4. Alex Rodriguez 5. Pablo Sandoval 6. Hanley Ramirez 7. Matt Kemp 8. Josh Hamilton 9. Carl Crawford 10. R. Castillo 11. David Price 12. Ryan Zimmerman 13. Matt Harrison 14. Jose Reyes 15. CC Sabathia
If I'm missing something really good, please let me know.
Appreciation in advance.

Erisbel Arrubuena is pretty bad, too, but doesn't top any of the above.

Right. Arrueberrana and Guerrero are pretty bad but since they are only about 5 mill a year for the next 2 years; I felt others deserve more mention.
Thanks for your quick reply Commish.

Arrueberrana will be paid $25M for never playing in the majors. Why can't I get that deal?

Ya but if he gets suspended permanently Dodgers might get out of the rest of the contract and perhaps not even have to pay tax on it.
He keeps breaking team rules somehow for the 2nd year in a row

We could also add that Howard had NEGATIVE WAR during his entire contract; so the Phillies were kind of paying him to help the OTHER team kill them.
Arrueberrana will probably never get to do that to the Dodgers, but in his defense he may be the best DEFENSIVE SS in the minors.
If the Dodgers can get the COMMISH to permanently suspend Arrieberrana they still might be able to get out of that contract and any luxury tax on it.

Not sure if this qualifies for the thread, but what about the Bobby Bonilla deal with the Mets. He get paid $1.19 million a year until 2035, and hasn't played since 2001.
