This seems like a good time to bring it up. Rather than have bidding for these players, I was thinking after FA bidding is over, we could run it like a draft. That way you just use 2016 salary. We would conduct the draft on here with draft order being reverse order of 2016 standings. That way everyone gets a crack at players without breaking the bank. Thoughts? Would be great to hear from ALL members here. Thanks. I did this in a previous league and it worked pretty well.

I'd be okay with that. The only problem I can forsee is a team leaving too many slots open during the bidding period, and losing out on players in the supplemental draft. Another option if anyone else wants to, is to have an open bidding period for ESPN free agents. Everyone gets to see the current bid price, and the player goes to the highest bidder when there is no activity for 24 hours. That way everyone has more control on who they get

Just kidding, I'd be the second pick so the draft sounds good to me!

Just curious, are teams without an open roster spot be left out of the draft?

No, they can add one player and drop another.

Just a little more clarification; would you be able to "pass" on a pick? Say I like my team, my roster is full, and don't want to pick a FA, could I pass on the rest of the draft?

Yes, if you pass, fine.
