We are probably a little less than a year away from Shohei signing a free agent deal. Make your prediction for years, total value, and AAV.
My call is for 12 years and $552M for an AAV of 46M. And you?

After Machado opts out after this season, I think he goes to the Friars for 14 years $700m for a $50m AAV

Preller's not afraid to spend, and will dish it out for Sho-time

He's definitely getting at least $500 million, and he's worth it. Question is what team and how many years?
I'll go with Mets, 10 years, $600 million.

I think he will get the illusive 500 million for 11 years putting his AAV at 45 million. Team wise give me the Mets, I think Cohen continues to spend big.

🎯 Neil! I never imagined it would go this high. Ridiculous! His days as a 2 way player are likely not long either.

If you look at Cots Baseball Contracts, it's blatantly obvious that the Dodgers will be paying the Luxury Tax for quite a while. If they kick the can down the road, defer the money, we'll have to rename "Bonilla Day".
