Jeepers creepers . They have tanked . Underperformed all season . Injuries . No mojo about them this year . Being swept by the Red Sox pretty much puts the fork in it . Football season here we come H

I think they just really weren't that good of a roster. Outside of Judge, there is no one scary in the lineup. Most have underperformed and are now on the down side of their career. I think there needs to be a lot of work done on that roster if they hope to be successful.

Definitely agree . Who scares you on the roster? . Stanton? . He will hit a HR and go 1-4 , 0-4, then sit the last game . Telling sign when most of the roster sits available on the waiver wire .

That being said I already read that Orioles owner is not sure he will be able to keep his roster of rising stars together without raising prices in Camden . You wait for the rebuild there and then the small market cannot support the success .

I'm enjoying it. I love seeing the small market teams succeed, even if it isn't my team. Hope the Rays and O's have some dominance in the AL East and the Yanks and Red Sox finish in 4th/5th.

Deep crisis, which I believe will continue in the next few years. I think this will be Boone's last year and surely Cashman will be at least questioned. In the offseason they tried to improve their pitching mound, but to date only Cole is saved (Rondon injured, Severino is the worst pitcher in the league, Cortes, apart from his injuries, no longer throws a ground ball, Brito and Vasquez at the moment have only found some lucky exit, …). In offense an incredible amount of K. I've always seen NYY players have little patience at the plate, but maybe it's time to try to, at least, get on base. The fact is that today they have the worst BABIP in all of MLB and one of the worst On Base %. Renew Judge was necessary and useful, but it's not the godsend... and maybe Aaron's season of life has already been done (unfortunately for me that I just bought him, at a high price, in this fantasy league). Perhaps they were expecting great things from the prospects, but Cabrera and Peraza still seem immature; Volpe will arrive, but he cannot become the leader of this team today. And personally I'm starting to reevaluate their entire pro-future farm system: the "martian" Dominguez doesn't seem to be shining in the minors and no pitcher capable of making a difference can be seen on the horizon. It will be necessary, as they do every time, to reach out to the wallet and snatch the top players so that they can play in NY, on the Yankees side. The Mets have tried (albeit badly), with a big hole in the water. The Orioles have built and the fruits can be seen, even if obviously we are talking about other markets, not comparable to each other. I love too ti see small market team succceed with shrewd investiments... that's why I support Colorado :-(
