Hi Guys,
Just like MLB, we will have no league activity until after the World Series is over. In the meantime, you can look over your rosters to see who is an upcoming free agent. Make your lists and get ready to drop them once the last game is over. In the meantime, I am in search for 3 new owners. Let me know if you know anyone who would be interested. Thanks!!

Players who are real free agents must be dropped them we bid on them here later in off-season? Players that are eligible for arbitration...we still own them and use their arbitration salaries for 2017, rite?

Refresh my memory on 2 more cases...were using 2017 salaries for next year but let's say an arb-eligible player like mookie betts. On cots, he doesn't have a salary. Do we wait until it's announced later in the off-season or go with the 2016 salary? Also, let's say I wanna cut Hunter pence and the 18m he's owed the next two years. Are there any penalties doing that?

Oops, we are using 2016 salaries, I should have said. The Betts scenario is exactly why we use salaries from the previous season, except for free agent bids.
No penalty for cutting any players in the offseason. The only penalty is when you cut a free agent during a season you won a bid on them. At that point, you pay 1/2 their salary as a penalty.

The Battlin Bucs, West KY Hoodrats, Windy City Whackers
Please hold off on dropping guys until directions come out. I don't want 10 guys doing 10 different things. Thanks!!

If you vouch for him, Tony, I am cool with that. He should look over rules so he can make a better decision on teams. Some guys like Julio Urias, Gary Sanchez, and Brandon Drury are no longer his because they have been claimed.

That means we still have 2 openings. Team assignment will be decided at a future time.
